Editor, author, syndicated columnist David Kingsmill is currently servicing foodservice and hospitality partners, as well as the banking industry in the GTA.

With an extensive background in the media, DKCI also offers unique media relations and crisis management training.

David Kingsmill was the Food Editor (five years) and Restaurant Critic (four years) for the Toronto Star. In 1987, he was enticed to leave publishing to become a partner with legendary restaurateur, the late Harry Barberian.

Since its inception and incorporation in 1989, the DKCI consultancy has specialized in restaurant and hospitality risk assessment and financing, an authoritative niche of services created and based upon years of proprietary expertise and prescient industry analysis.

Marian Kingsmill, has an extensive 25-year background in hotel management and meeting and conference planning, including holding management positions in the hospitality sector with Hilton International/Canada, Holiday Inns and Ramada Hotels. She has organized events as diverse as marketing and promotion, product launches, press conferences, trade shows, annual general and shareholders’ meetings, variety entertainment shows, antique road-show marketplaces, quarter century club and client recognition events, and confidential top-level bureaucratic meetings.

Marian’s strengths in communication and artistic applications, people management and motivation, as well as her attention to logistics and details, have served DKCI’s conference and event clientele exceedingly well.
